The Arcade MFG.Co was from Freeport, Ill. This company started making the No 1 and the No. 2 coffee grinders in the early 1900s. The No.1 and No.2 are the hardest grinder to find but the No.3 grinder is the most sought after. The No. 3 Grinder is what made this company famous for coffee grinders. These were very popular from around 1910 to 1920 until the company starting manufacturing the No.4 coffee grinders.

The No.3 grinders were available in five different colors. There was stock black finish, white & blue enamel, oxidized copper (green), nickel plate and red. The No.3 and No.4 upper jars are embossed with the letters CRYSTAL and has a NO.3 or NO.4 on them. Also the NO.4 jars also had the 12 sided top jar as well as the 12 sided bottom jar.
