LEWIS SIEGEL : WAMPOO BITTERS Listed in the New York City Directory in 1872 Lewis Siegel Sole Proprietor was a manufacture of California Champagne & Celebrated Wampoo Bitters and a Importer of Rines Wines. He was located at 42 Warren St. New York, N.Y. By 1883 he would be located at 294 Broadway in new York. A sales card states that you could purchase five cases of Wampoo Bitters for Five dollars a case or one hundred cases for Four dollars a case in 1883.
