ALFRED ANDRESEN & CO. : SMOKINE - CABIN SHAPE BOTTLE

In 1893 Alfred Andresen founded a company called the "Alfred Andresen & Co. The Western Impoter" He marketed cooking utensils for the regional Scandinavian Immigrant population from Minneapolis, Minn. He held the patents for the Rosette Waffle and Heart Shaped Waffle Irons. Alfred was not the actual manufacture of his products. He jobbed out the castings to foundries for his patent waffle irons. Also the well know cooking utensil Griswold.

By 1913 he was forced out of the company he started. The name was changed to "The Western Importing Co."

Around 1900 he would have a product called Smokine which was bottled in a log cabin shaped bottle which was offered in two sizes. Give or take a 5 and a 7 inch size.

Below are a few photos of the larger 7 inch size bottle.
