Loeb he was born in Jan 1868 in Jackson, Michigan and died in Sept. 12 1925 in Chicago. The company was listed as sole proprietors & manufacturers of Hi Hi Bitters. The label would have said Sanitarium Pepsin Celery Hi Hi Bitters. The trade mark was registered June 27 1899. The Sanitarium was a medical hospital in Rock Island.
